Outdoor Activities
Walking
October to April are the perfect months for good walking in Majorca, at very
pleasant temperatures. There are some magnificent walks onto the peaks of the island. Some are for very serious hikers, but many a viewpoint can be reached in an hour or two's walk. There are plenty of walks on the flat too around the beautiful bays.

Two local walks come strongly recommended - one taking in the hilltop
monastery giving panoramic views of the beautiful ochre streets of Pollensa
right round to the stunning coast line, and another walk from the Port of
Pollensa into the Boquer valley famous for BIRDWATCHING and the handsome local
mountain goats.
Riding
There are good local stables, and this is a lovely way to enjoy the local
valleys. Every level of rider is catered for.
Golfing

As regards golf courses in Majorca, the Pollensa Golf Course is a 9-hole course in a beautiful setting. The club
house has panoramic views and is welcoming to visitors both playing and
non-playing.
The green fee is approximately £25.

Swimming
We know people who swim in the sea all the year round. All of our winter properties have pools, but of course there are indoor swimming pools too.
